Goldfinches feeding on live insects!

During breeding period, insects are one of the main things you should provide to goldfinch diet. Proteins from insect food help fertility, mating and raising of the youngsters. The youngsters, especially, are in need of this kind of protein to ensure optimal growth and low mortality rate.
